Steam users are in for some bad news, Deep Silver the developers of Metro Exodus have disclosed their latest game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and won’t be available to buy on Valve’s Steam Store.
The reasoning why Metro won’t be coming to steam is pretty clear with Tim Sweeney the founder and CEO of Epic saying: “We are partnering with Deep Silver to launch Metro Exodus, underpinned by Epic’s marketing support and commitment to offering an 88% revenue split,” This statement clearly showing the move away from Steam was mainly due to money.
Metro Exodus is set to come out on the 15th of February 2019.
