Fallout 76 Wastelanders is the Free DLC released from Bethesda.
Today Bethesda Game Studios released Wastelanders, the latest free update for Fallout 76. The update welcomes NPCs into the fold who bring with them all new quests, classic dialogue options with choice and consequence and much more. The Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 is playable now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the Bethesda Launcher and for the first time on Steam.
Players will join forces with the devious raiders or form an alliance with the hopeful settlers in search of the secrets hiding in the mountains of West Virginia. People aren’t the only ones who’ve found their way back to the area, though – take on terrifying new creatures with new weapons and armor. Appalachia and its mysteries are waiting to be unearthed, and it’s up to players to determine their part in the race for control.
Here are some more of the new features players can look forward to in Wastelanders:
- Allies – Special types of human NPCs that will bring more life to player C.A.M.P.s and offer activities to take part in daily
- Reputation System – Returning from previous Fallout titles is the inclusion of a reputation system, giving each choice you make more weight. The more players do to help a faction by offering information, taking down their enemies, and completing quests, the more their reputation with that faction will increase
- New Events – Wastelanders will add two new events to Fallout 76 in Riding Shotgun and Radiation Rumble. Whether you’re playing caravan protector or fending off onslaughts of irradiated creatures, these new events bring new, unique challenges to Appalachia
- Bug Fixes – Wastelanders will include new content and bug fixes along with a variety of quality-of-life improvements
